' KANCHE ' - Artistic, Novelistic, Classic, Meaningful Love Story with the theme of Racism & Caste. Must Watch if you Love Non Commercial Flicks

EXCLUSIVE REVIEW

Genre: Love, Action, Racism, Romance
TypeNon Commercial
Cast: Varuj Tej, Pragya Jaiswal, Nikitin Dheer, Srinivas Avasarala, Maruthirao Gollapudi, Posani Murali etc
Music DirectorChirantan Bhatt
Director: Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi

RATING FOR THE MOVIE:- 3.1/5... A Flick that will give you a New and Fresh feeling of variety in Film making. This movie is an Artistic blend of Action, Romance, Love & with the theme of Racism in this World.

STORY OF THE MOVIE ::

Movie runs with 2 parallel stories one after another. Dhupati Hari Babu ( Varun Tej ) loves Pragya Jaiswal, Daugther of the Zamindar of that particular Village. Nikitin Dheer ( Brother of Pragya Jaiswal ) opposes her love as Hari Babu is from low caste & as he is the son of a poor family. Parallelly, 2nd story depicts the World War 2 in 1940's where both Varun Tej & Nikitin Dheer are soilders working for Italy which fights opposite to Adolf Hitler. Hitler also fights & kills civilians brutually on the name of Racism.

Story completely depicts the love story of Varun Tej & Pragya Jaiswal with the background theme of Racism in both flashback and current story. Movie is all about people's mindset on Race, Castes & Communities and all scenes are interrelated to the same theme.

ANALYSIS OF THE MOVIE ::

Firstly, " KANCHE " has been completely shot like an Old Movie. I loved the way Director Radhakrishna has run the screenplay of the movie with fantastic art work & novel thoughts of showing the theme of Racism. I would say that Radhakrishna is back with complete control over making & his style of narration with KANCHE.

Varun Tej has shown absolute maturity on acting. Every scene by him is Perfect. Varun Tej has shown his good acting in ' MUKUNDA ' & with this movie Varun Tej has raised his bar as an Extraordinary actor.

Pragya Jaiswal looks very beautiful and decent in traditional costumes & impeccable acting as Zamindar's daughter. She looks perfect to the role. Nikitin Dheer acted well both as Soilder & as a Cruel Brother.

Maruthi Rao Gollapudi adds flavour to the flick. Though his role is limited, Dialogues by Maruthi Rao make you think twice about the society. Srinivas Arasala adds few smiles in the movie with his one liners. Posani comes in few scenes and he gives his original performance in the important scenes of the movie

The heart beat of the movie is the Music & especially Background Music of this flick is Amazing. Hatsoff to Chirantan Bhatt for doing great work. If the heartbeat of the movie is Music, Soul of the flick is Cinematography. Cinematography by Chota.K.Naidu is commendable. He has made the artistic ideas of Radhakrishna look more beautiful and Novelistic.

Dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra are simply amazing. Each and every word penned in the movie and lyrics in the songs are mind blowing. If you are artistic in nature, you will love the dialogues more. Action scenes & War scenes make you feel like you are watching an English Movie. Radhakrishna made sure that he hasn't compromised on the quality of the movie.

On the Flip Side, Screenplay of the movie is a bit slow in some parts of the movie. Normal commercial movie goers may not admire the slow pace of the movie & old style candid taking.

HIGHLIGHTS

(1) Music , (2) Cinematography, (3) Awesome Dialogues,
(4) Costumes, (5) Varun Tej's performance, (6) Artistic View of Direction

NEGATIVES

(1) Slow Screenplay, (2) Lower Entertainment Quotient, (3) Non Commerical Songs
Overall, ' KANCHE ' is a totally different flick from the Artistic director Mr. Radha Krishna. If you like Radhakrishna's old movies, you will fall in love with this flick. If you are looking for different flicks, you may try this. But, if you are looking for a solid commercial pot boiler with 6 Songs and a story with Villian Flashback, Please avoid this movie.

This movie will get good response in Multiplexes & Cities. Need to wait and see the response 'B' & 'C' centers for ' KANCHE '.

This Weekend, GO FOR " KANCHE " - If you are a Movie Lover !!

" BRUCELEE " Review

' BRUCELEE ' - Apart from Megastar's Cameo & Few Good Scenes, ' BRUCELEE ' makes you feel as an Average Flick

EXCLUSIVE REVIEW

Genre: Family, Action & Drama
TypeCommercial
Cast: Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Rakul Preet Singh, Kriti Kharbanda, Sampath Raj, Rao Ramesh, Mukesh Rushi, Sayaji Shinde, Arun Vijay, Brahmaji, Brahmanandam, Ali, Saptagiri, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Posani Krishna Murali, Pruthvi, Ravi Prakash, Harsha Vardhan, Sameer, Tisca Chopra, Nadiya etc
Story: Kona Venkat - Gopi Mohan
Director: Sreenu Vaitla

RATING FOR THE MOVIE:- 2.75/5... A blend of family drama with set of action & parallel comedy. A ' GOOD IN PARTS ' type of movie which lands to be an Average at the end of the show.

STORY OF THE MOVIE ::

A simple story of a guy who sacrifices anything & everything for his family right from his career till his life. Ram Charan plays the role of Rao Ramesh's son. Kriti Kharbanda acts as Charan's sister. All the other characters in the movie support the story for the same baseline of the script. Megastar Chiranjeevi comes in a scene to rescue Charan's family at the end of the movie.

ANALYSIS OF THE MOVIE ::

Sreenu Vaitla has completely changed his making style from a Comedy genre to Family type commercial genre. After a disaster like ' AAGADU ', Sreenu Vaitla tried to reinvent his scripting skills to come out of his common story telling & he has completely succeeded in the transformation of making it look different.

Ram Charan acting has improved a bit. Charan has to learn lot of expressions to challange the equations in Telugu Film Industry. Dialogues in the movie were not timed really well by Charan. The soul of some good dialogues were lost due to improper timing. Ram Charan looks Fresh & his costumes, shades are amazing. Charan looks fit and he looks as if he has lost lot of weight for this role.

Rakul Preet looks stunning as ever. She looks very beautiful in all the scenes & the cinematographer has made sure that her glamour is not missed by the audience. Rao Ramesh is good as Charan's father. All the comedians did their role adequately well. Bramhanandam & Ali pep up the momentum for few mins in the second half. Songs are shot well. All the locations are superb & eye catchy. Charan's dance moves are good & impact full.

First half of the movie is good & second half of the movie makes you feel a bit snobby. Background Music by S S Thamman is also Average. Rhythmic one Liners of Kona Venkat are good. Songs are catchy.

Megastar Chiranjeevi comes as a Saviour for second half when you feel very uncomfortable sitting on your chair. Chiranjeevi looks stunning & the dialogue - “ Just time gap. Timing lo gap vundadu ” makes the fans shout to the core. Also, Horse race scene between Charan & Chiranjeevi is an Eye Feast to the fans.

HIGHLIGHTS

(1) Megastar's CAMEO , (2) Cinematography, (3) Rhythmic Dialogues

NEGATIVES

(1) Lack of strong screenplay, (2) Pale Entertainment, (3) Weak Story

Overall, ' BRUCELEE' lands to be an Average Commercial Pot Boiler. Megastar Chiranjeevi adds grace to this movie in the end. Other than that, Brucelee falls flat in the execution. Being Holidays, this movie will surely get good collections, But - not sure about the entertainment. Go for ' BRUCELEE ' for timepass and for Megastar.

' RUDRAMADEVI (3D) ' II FULL REVIEW

' RUDRAMADEVI (3D) ' - Great Artwork & Allu Arjun's amazing role lands this flick on an Average note.

EXCLUSIVE REVIEW

Genre: History
Type: Non Commerical
Cast: Allu Arjun Rana Daggubati, Anuskha, Nitya Menon, Catherine, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Baba Sehgal & the list goes on
Director: Gunasekhar

RATING FOR THE MOVIE:- 2.6/5... Raises with a Healthy First Half & Lands to an Average note of a lengthy & boring Second Half.

STORY OF THE MOVIE ::

This flick revolves around a Queen named " Rudramadevi " of Kakatiya dynasty who is been portrayed to be a guy ' Rudradevudu ' for the sake of saving the country from enemies. for 25 years. Movie is all about the history of this queen & her rule. Rana plays the love part of Rudramadevi & Allu Arjun plays the character of Gona Ganna Reddy who is the enemy of Rudramadevi's dynasty being a ' Bandipotu '.

ANALYSIS OF THE MOVIE ::

Firstly, I applaud Gunasekhar to select this subject with lot of courage & guts. The art & architecture of the movie is commendable. Gunasekhar has not compromised on penning his thoughts provoking through the Art Work. All the characters in the film are apt to themselves. Megastar Chiranjeevi has given background voice for this flick.Costumes, Material used for War scenes show you the depth of Gunasekhar's strength over arts.

Anuskha has played her part well. Allu Arjun has rocked the screen with his Telangana slang dialogues & his looks. Rana Daggubati is adequate being a soilder of Kakatiya Empire. Prakash Raj & Krishnam Raju go hand in hand in all the scenes.

First half of the movie is gripping and interesting. Fights, Introduction scenes, Allu Arjun's entrance and dialogues are entertaining and keep the first half on a safer side. Second half of the movie completely bores you up. Slow Screenplay & Draggy scenes test your patience. Music of ' MAESTRO ' Ilayaraja is a complete disaster for this movie. All the songs are dead boring.

Graphics in the movie are not upto the standards. Graphics in 3D look just average. Background Music also is a complete minus for this flick.

HIGHLIGHTS

(1) Allu Arjun's Role , (2) First Half, (3) Art Work, (4) Telangana Dialogues of Arjun.

NEGATIVES

(1) Complete second half, (2) Music, (3) Less quality Graphics

Overall, ' RUDRAMADEVI ' is an Average flick. Gunasekhar has put a lot of effort to show his impeccable art work on screen. But, on a complete platform - Rudramadevi fails to Entertain.

' TALVAR ' MOVIE REVIEW

' TALVAR ' - Must Watch Crime Thriller by Irfan Khan beautifully narrated by Meghna Gulzar

Genre: Crime
Type: Thriller
Cast: Irrfan Khan, Neeraj Kabi, Konkona Sensharma, Sohum Shah, Gajraj Rao, Atul Kumar, Sumit Gulati, Prakash Belwadi, Tabu
Director: Meghna Gulzar

RATING FOR THE MOVIE:- 3.4/5... Super Thriller. Irfan nailed it One More Time. Must Watch.

STORY OF THE MOVIE ::

This movie is a case which is the true story that has happened in Noida few years back. ' Noida Double Murder Case ' that shook the country at that point of time. Talvar is the same case that has been portrayed as a story. Neeraj Kabi & Konkana Sen Sharma play the role of Sruthi's parents and Irfan Khan plays the character of the cop handling this case.

ANALYSIS OF THE MOVIE ::

Complete screenplay of the movie is gripping & nail biting. The backlogs in the police system and also the gaps in Indian laws have been majorly highlighted in this flick.

First half of the movie is good & second half of the movie catches the pace of the flick.

Climax of the movie is a bit unconvincing; but, as this movie is a make of real story, audience need to accept the flaws of Indian Judicial System and accept the climax as it is. Climax clearly depicts that justice is hypothetical in some cases.

HIGHLIGHTS

(1) Irfan Khan's acting, (2) Tight Screenplay, (3) Clear Narration, (4) Shorter Runtime.

NEGATIVES

(1) Repetitive scenes, (2) Slightly draggy script, (3) Improper Climax

' Talvar ' is a sure shot weekend flick.

Go - Go - Go for ' Talvar ' for its gripping screenplay & Irfan Khan's amazing work.
